چکیده
The Eastern Anatolian Plateau (EAP), approximately 2000 m above sea level, is located between the Pontides to north, Arabian Platform south, and Iranian east. It characterized by 6 km-thick Maastrichtian Quaternary volcano-sedimentary cover which unconformably overlies continental oceanic basement units. Overall, outcrops of pre-Maastrichtian are rare include both This led drastically different interpretations nature as (i) accretionary complex or (ii) crust overlying ophiolitic mélange. synthesis deals with relationships units in light recent geological, geophysical, geochemical studies. Geophysical studies consistently indicate presence a spatially thickened lateral variation ranging from 38 52 km. Background: Besnoitiosis caused by Besnoitia besnoiti is regarded as a re-emerging disease in cattle because of the increased number of cases and geographical distribution in many European countries. Aims: The present study was conducted to determine the presence of B. besnoiti in cattle in the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia of Turkey. <str...

متن کاملInfections of Ligula intestinalis on Freshwater Fish in Kars Plateau of North-Eastern Anatolia, Turkey.
OBJECTIVE This study was conducted to determine the prevalence of Ligula intestinalis and infections caused by these on freshwater fish in rivers and streams in the Kars plateau of north-eastern Anatolia, Turkey. METHODS This research was conducted between April and July 2011. Fish samples were caught via a casting net and an electro-shocker. The samples were immediately examined to determine...

heteropoly acids (hpa) and their salts have advantages as catalysts which make them both economically and environmentally attractive, strong br?nsted acidity, exhibiting fast reversible multi-electron redox transformations under rather mild conditions, very high solubility in polar solvents, fairly high thermal stability in the solid states, and efficient oxidizing ability, so that they are imp...

S U M M A R Y In this study we investigate the dynamics of the region that includes Greece, the Aegean Sea and Asia Minor. In a least-squares inversion we solve for a continuous strain rate field, and corresponding velocity field, that satisfies 872 GPS data. The estimate of the geodetic strain rate field provides constraints for our dynamic analysis. Next, we separately solve the depth integra...
